Lesson On Sketching the flamingo

Hello! I have been doing live sketching lessons Sundays on Facebook since we started quarantine here in New York. It’s been a wonderful experience and a surprising way to feel connected to others during this time. Below you will see my latest lesson on sketching the Flamingo. Since these videos are downloaded from Facebook, the quality and crispness is not what I’d prefer, but I am sharing them anyway. Sometimes we can’t wait for perfection. I hope you enjoy!

Supplies

All you really need is paper and a pencil. For most of the lesson I use a number 2 regular pencil you can find anywhere. At the end to add the darkest darks, I use a 9b Derwent Pencil. The paper I’m using is Bristol.
